COMPANY HISTORY
The name Carraro brings with it more than nine hundred years of the art of building, starting with the Da 'Carrara, who have their symbol in the wooden wheel, whose perennial movement speaks of industriousness and perfection.
TRADITION
The art of working with materials comes from the ancient tradition of the family and from the very nature of the place of production, located inside the Palù del Livenza park, protected by Unesco as a naturalistic and archaeological heritage.
PHILOSOPY
Carraro's masterpieces and handcrafted artifacts are born in a symbiotic environment made of woods, ancient springs, an artisan laboratory and a way of life, where ancient woods, fossil woods and naturally seasoned woods are combined with corroded metals, ancient fabrication traditions and stones natural.
Carraro today also means international experience in the management of complex projects and construction sites, turnkey design of unique solutions for furniture, definition of technical patents, materials engineering and an important physical presence both in the European market and in the Middle East and Africa.
In Italy, inside the Palu 'park in Friuli (UNESCO heritage) there is our artisan laboratory and the materials warehouse, in Sacile in our sales office Italy, in Dubai and Nairobi our technical and commercial offices, where the most exclusive interior projects are developed in collaboration with major international designers and general contractors.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our processing systems based on ancient artisan knowledge, allow us to enhance the uniqueness and rarity of wood. Wood materials, seasoned in nature, fossilized by mud, hardened for centuries in oxygen-free waters, naturally dried in the woods or forgotten in ancient artifacts, are brought to new life and unique shapes. Relying on Carraro artisans means giving new life and value to a hidden wooden natural heritage, guarded by mud, water from springs, seasoned by woods, which represents an unknown and unusable deposit by most Carraro products are made to share with the admirers of nature and design the rarity of exclusive materials and constructive knowledge.
